Dear Jeff Yahoo. It works again. In fact it booted like it has never booted before.
Test Combo is with the CD ROM 507B on the slow bus, 2 x ST 34555N, 4.2 G HD's on the Fast Bus. Twin turbo, and Newertech G3 PPC 750 250 Mhz. Nice to see it's happening again. 9.1 with Newertech didn't work and froze twice after install and restarting with Maxpowr 2.0.5. So I used XLR8 2.6.1 instead and no problem so far She's right though. Bit of a strangled start up chime but no apparent problems..The trouble is the ATX PS doesn't fit into the Seasonic's place. So badly that I will have to get the hack saw out to make way for the power cord to enter, or some right angled tin snips. Any tips? Jeff Walters article is the business though. A few moments of worry but I'm glad it has worked out. Thanks Jeff. I just hope that the ground wires are not sequenced to match specific power lines. I'll see in the next few weeks. Thanks to all and hope everyone keeps enjoying a pleasurable machine. Regards Paul Shand -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
