Hi S900, 604e 200mhz, 128mb ram, OS 9.1
Couple of questions, first maybe a bit dumb, but is it possible to put a processor card from a Beige G3 straight into my s900, or do I need to buy a card designed especially as an upgrade card? Next Q is, I have just bought a Lacie CDRW with a yamaha 4416 mechanism from ebay, and would like to transfer some of my vinyl records to CD. Do I need any special audio ports in the back of my s900 to connect my turntable and amp to, or any particular software apart from Toast. I have the majority of a 7500/100 under my desk and it has audio and video ports in the rear, can I transfer these to the s900 or not. One other thing that's been bugging me for a while, my s900 shows the video card as being an ATI Rage, but it seems like the majority of other people have got IX Micro Twin Turbo cards, did umax ship with different video cards or has it been upgraded.
