-- If you're a Photoshop user the difference between G3 and G4 is quite significant. Photoshop 6 (I believe it started with 6) and up uses a "speeder upper" called Altivec which is the difference between a G3 and G4. According to a tech at Sonett, if I start my S900 with extensions off then the Altevec aspect of my G4 is not enabled and effectively I have a G3.
