Brenda:
RAM for this machine is much cheaper now than it used to be. You
might check with Other World Computers (esales.com) on the RAM. Make
sure it's for this machine. You will have to reformat the hard drive to
go to 9.1, and the CD will probably stop working (since it's non-Apple)
until you install something like InTech's CD Speed Tools. I've got
several machines I jumped to 9.1 and they're quite nice. If you could
pick up an L2/G3 processor upgrade, it would be fairly quick.
