I think I'd run it with more RAM than that. Might as well stuff it to the
full 144mb. 2 64mb chips ought to be dirt cheap nowadays. I personally like
OS 8.6 for my C500 better than 9.1 because it eats far less RAM & doing
digital audio I need every bit I can get. You can find 8.6 for cheap on
eBay. I might add there many on this list that swear by the 9s on the
C500/600 so you may want to try it first & see how it works but by all
accounts I would go ahead & spend a few dollars on a couple of 64s & put em
in.
