We have an external zip with the c600, and an internal zip in our 9600. Proline (going out of business now) sold face plate kits (face plate and shielding) for all the Apple products. I have no idea where you would find a SuperMac one. The face plate for the 9600 exposes the entire "front" of the zip drive. That way you can get at the eject button. If it were me, I would cut out a hole big enough to expose the entire face of the zip drive. Don't know what you do about the shielding "stuff" that is usually behind it...
