I'm beginning to notice a pattern here......OS 9.1.
Someone on this list mentioned (last year) it being a potential source of system errors. Otherwise I would have never suspected it. Trashing the prefs does seem to stop the occasional problems that crop up. However, I can't recall what sort of problems they were. Currently I have it disabled as well while I'm in the early stages of using DSL.
