Hey Listers, I seem to have a problem printing in 10.2.6 this has just occurred
in last few days, actually I haven't printed from this desktop in awhile...I have a
HP LaserJet 6MP connected to my router for sharing the device over our home
network. Funny thing is my wife "sees" the printer and is printing in OS9 no
problem I also see the printer when in OS9 from the same desktop, but not
OSX.
I purchased a Print Server about a month ago, a NetGear PS101 Mini It worked
fine when I first set it up, and was printing in OSX.
Here's the Question...How can I "See" the printer in OSX? I go to Print Center
and "add" a printer, I select "IP Printing" then I must enter a "valid IP address"
It doesn't "see" the printer automatically...I've enter a series of numbers based
around my routers "config" XXX.XXX.X.XXX but I'm not sure "WHAT" this printers
IP is? How can I find out what number is "valid" Thank's in advance, Phillip
Try choosing AppleTalk orinting instead. Steve
