I did not see a driver for your LaserWriter in OS 10.2.6. I think that, and the fact that it is a "serial port only" printer is going to make it impossible to get it working in Jaguar. Farallon/Proxim does (or used to) make a serial to ethernet adapter that works with the various Apple printers. But you will still have the missing driver issue.
You might take a look at Gimp-Print. <http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/MacOSX.php3> There may be something workable/useful there.
If you hook the LaserWriter up to one of your other machines, can you access it from the S900 in OS 10.2.6 via printer sharing? (probably a long shot...)
