Hi there, me again. Sorry to keep asking about this but I keep finding out more about what I'm trying to do, which confuses me more (not being much of a hardware guy)...It seems that for my c500 with the 240 processor that I installed, there's also a "Sonnet Crescendo L2 G3/400mhz with 1MB Cache upgrade" that I could get? Is this still part of the same thing I've been muddling through? Found a couple on eBay (searched for "c500" in the Apple section) and wonder if that might be a route to go, though they look a little pricier than I was anticipating. (Of course, a new one is $200.)
I'm trying to squeeze whatever speed I can out of this thing, since I cannot afford to get anything newer...that's my basic desire here. Memory is at 112MB, and I plan to go to 144MB soon. At some point I would like to replace the HD or get a second one, purely for more room. With any luck this will be my last inquiry on these lines.
