On a separate thread, I'm running 8.1 on the Umax and have been
considering moving to 8.6 or 9.2.2
Any tips or recommendations much appreciated.
Thanks

9.1 is the highest you can go without involving any workaround, which is
necessary if you must have 9.2 and beyond.
And 9.1, at least for me, has been very stable since day 1.
Dispite many listers' success stories on loading 9.2X, the thought of it
tires me out.
Before 9.1 I was using 8.6, which was also very stable.
Just personal experience/preference.

I'm running 9.2 w OS9 Helper on a 7500. It is very stable. Much more so, I think, than 9.1. There are a few more things that break though, so while it appears to be very simlar to 9.1, there must be things under the hood that are different.
