Hi All,

I have been out of Mac field for over 5 years and my knowledge is
outdated now. I recently picked the SM900 and PM7600 barebones for
nothing. I already got them stuffed with 1 GB RAM each - have this
bad habit of maxing out :) What CPU are they can take and what is
reasonable for occasional Photoshopping, light music
conversion/editing and general use: email, web, etc.? What video
cards are the best? By the best I mean the best and the best in terms
of bang for the buck for comparison. PM has the original CD, so I can
boot both taking turns, the SM has no CD and no floppy. Any
suggestions in this dept? I can live without floppies, but I
understand that CPU cards have something on floppies to be installed
either before or after upgrade, Sorry for the bunch of lame
questions. And I am not sure I will go for OS X on these boxes, seems
like no matter what you put inside, it wants newer hardware.

TIA
