Don't feel too bad ... I paid $249 and $199 CND (+ taxes) for my first and
second 64MB DIMMS respectively. That was late 1998-early 1999 ... ouch. I
have taken advantage of the inexpensive OWC RAM however, and upgraded to
784MB. Got "lucky" and sold my old 64MB DIMMS for $25 each.
