Well I tried removing a card and the zip drive and cdrw drive. No change. I also tried a few different usb plug configurations plus plugging in the firewire to a few diff plugs including a separate powered external firewire enclosure.
So, my guess is something is telling the busses to not send adequate power through the cable or pci card. Could a faulty motherboard component do that? Is there an equal component on the mobo, such as a Power Manager in a laptop computer? One little thing, what about the order of the cards? Does more power also go to the top two pci slots? Kennedy do you have any thoughts on this? I guess my next method of deductive trials will be to swap everything over to the other s900.
