Are there any caveats in running only ATA drives in legacy macs and clones ?

Hello, George which Tempo are you referring to the 33, 66, 100 or the 133
I believe 2 different technologies at work here "ahard" and "promise" with
very different "results and effects" ...

Alan, I've been running all ATA for a few years now, OS9 - X, experimented with several
ata cards, First the Sonnet 66 (ahard) others (promise)...VST UltraTek 66, Sonnet
Tempo 100, now I'm using an Ahard Acard 6280 133 and its been great... I don't
"capture" video can't speak to this but DVD playback has been flawless and that may
have something to do with OSX and its evolvement and also with the array of
hardware choices we can make with these S900's some tried, some not. Regards,
Phillip
