Hadn't thought about the SCSI subsystem in your CC motherboards but was 
thinking more about a PCI card-based system.  There, in ATA HDD benchmarking and 
XLR8 carrier card overclocking, if data is moving over the system bus then how 
CPU speed changes are achieved would need to be considered.  In my comment 
above maybe my thinking was too general, or too narrow (happens easily to me in 
this realm).
