Dave et al, I used to use a freeware application called "Zemlya", which you could configure to contact an atomic clock signal of your choice and automatically reset your system clock. Once set up, it took seconds to run and reset the clock. I assume it could be automated. I haven't looked at it or used it for quite a while, but I would guess that it's still available.
