Hi Ernie,

Apparently the automatic feature only works if using OS 9.2 or earlier where
you set it in 'Date & Time'.  It apparently also works in OSX with dsl or
cable always connected.  This appears to be where the flaw is.  If using OSX
and an external dialup, it is strictly manual synchronization.  It doesn't
automatically synchronize when dialup connects in OSX.  At least not in my
machine.  The auto sync feature just isn't there.  Maybe it works
differently in true Apple machines?  I don't know... Probably not.
