You may be able to check the internal transformer/power supply and try to
find a replacement and revive the 4416.
I find that having an external SCSI CD drive is very useful for our aging
machines, especially for emergency bootups and maintenance.

As for an internal burner, several Listers have installed IDE cards/burners.

Not sure of readily available internal SCSI burners.
