There is no mention of Mac.
Is this thing Apple ROM'd ?
There is no mention of Mac OS.

It is a very attractive option if this is the case so it can be a
replacement for the Matshita drive and not have to deal with third party
drivers (and not have to use any hacked Apple drivers either.)
