I have a C600, 240MHz, maxed RAM, ethernet card, running 9.1 and I don't recall problem with installation. The Sonnet G3 came in today and I'm going to try it, too. I hope the Sonnet works because I like the old C600 war horse. Besides that, it is something to talk about, along with the C500 that I have--and the J700..

On the 240MHz, the following path took me to 9.1.

1. OS 8.5
2. OS 8.6
3. OS 9.0
4. OS 9.0.4
5. OS 9.1

And it still is running without any problems.

How I can go to system 9. I bought a Sonnet G3 upgrade that
crashes the mac often on OS 8.
I can't believe you can run OS 10 on this old mac but I want
this mac to run 9 or 9.1 or 9.2.
I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
