The first few time I tried to install seamonkey 2, I couldn't even get the program to start. I double clicked on the .exe, and nothing happened. It also didn't show any of my existing profiles, etc, so I haven't made the switch yet. I use this for business, so it has to work, security or not. I am behind a double firewall and restore my OS from a secure image every month or so, so I am fairly safe.

Is there a way to have seamonkey play the sound file

could this be embedded.

You need a plugin to play the audio file. I don't know any for Windows (don't use this OS for years). On Linux one of the following list would help:

mediaplayerplug-in
gecko-mediaplayer
totem-plugin
xine-plugin
gxine-plugin
