I asked if your Mail and News folders where in your profile and I
believe you responded "Nope", now you say they are there.
The files and folders are there, I can see them in Windows Explorer.
SeaMonkey pretends not to see them and will not display them.
Just an idea ...
Save those pseudo missing files somewhere (not in the profile).
Let SM create a new account *same* as the old one.
When SM is closed, replace the new files by the saved files.
