Well, you'd stay on the beta channel even if we'd offer a beta ->
release update. In the past, upgrading to the final release would have
made sense, but now, with the rapid release train, upgrading directly to
the subsequent beta makes more sense in my eyes (esp. if the beta
release is following as fast as planned now).

Hey, Jens, as I understand things, the release version is virtually the
same as the B3 version, so I don't see why our valiant beta testers
would bother upgrading to the final release.
Makes sense for the B3 tester to then upgrade to the next B1
