Well, you'd stay on the beta channel even if we'd offer a beta -> release update. In the past, upgrading to the final release would have made sense, but now, with the rapid release train, upgrading directly to the subsequent beta makes more sense in my eyes (esp. if the beta release is following as fast as planned now).
