I just discovered this website:

Whenever I click on any of the links, I get:
Unknown Protocol: apt is not a registered protocol

I can only assume (since I've already deleted it) that it was registered
in the included version of Firefox. Can someone clue me in as to how to
get this working with Seamonkey?

Seems like a wrong-headed approach, since apt really is not a valid
protocol, and registering it shouldn't fix anything.

All the links I see on that page begin with http, as they should.

So it seems logical to ask how your installation got the idea in its
head to look for apt... Is something substituting "apt" for "http"?

Here is a sample of the code from the source.

3. Install Media Codecs

If you plan on listening to your music library or watching films in Ubuntu then you'll need to have the necessary codecs installed.

For legal reasons Ubuntu can't provide these 'out of the box&', but the installer does offer to install them during set-up.

If you didn't check that box during installation it's no biggy: hit the button below to begin installation of the most common codecs through the Ubuntu Software Centre.

Click to Install Third-Party Codecs

In openSUSE "One Click" installs download a .ymp file which you then run to download and install.

I haven't tried it in Fedora.
