for what its worth, I LOVE Windows 8 on my old laptop... i dunno why anyone is complaining about it. Metro has interesting features, and doesn't need touch screen capability to swipe across the screen, both the right/left arrows & center scroll mouse wheel take over swipe functionality on non-touch screens...
