Hello,

I'm on OSX Snow Leopard with SM 2.18 beta (Build identifier:
20130502195045).

That beta has some problems with the email accounts (and also with the
Usenet ones).

Gabriel, as you can see from my sig block, I also am using SM 2.18b4

1) when I start SM, all the accounts in the Mail main window are
automatically expanded;

When you close SM, are the accounts open or closed?? SM is set-up to remember how things were on closing.

2) it dosn't keep the folders number of messages and sizes, I need to
manually select each folder to know its content;
3) I can't delete some messages;
4) it is showing and odd number of usenet messages (say, the same NG had
1.000 messages before the last SM upgrade, today it's showing only 15).

Sorry, cannot help with points 2, 3 and 4.

All my email accounts are IMAP and a few of them are also locally
synchronized.

Is there a new and better SM release I can download?
I know there are some files inside the SM folder one can delete to
rebuild the index, but I don't remember which ones :)

Gabriel, the index files for the e-mail folders are the ones with the ".msf" suffix, i.e. inbox.msf is the index file for your inbox. Your received emails are store in the inbox (no suffix), so the inbox.msf file can be deleted (when SeaMonkey is totally closed) and will be re-created when the inbox is next selected.

thanx
Gabriel

Hope this helps a bit.
