hmmm. All three panes are size adjustable. But if you don't like it,
you don't like it.

Yes, Geoff, they are adjustable, but the screen is still cluttered with
3 panes. I would need an Enormous monitor so as not to feel cramped
with that arrangement. I don't have that much room on my desk.
I don't like to be crowded, on the screen, on the road, or in my space.

That seems easily fixed. Here's what I do--I just drag the divider on
the right down until the message pane disappears. Then I have two, the
accounts on the left and the message list on the right. All is
displayed, and I double-click to read a message. Two panes, and easy to
manage.
