That seems easily fixed. Here's what I do--I just drag the divider on
the right down until the message pane disappears. Then I have two, the
accounts on the left and the message list on the right. All is
displayed, and I double-click to read a message. Two panes, and easy to
manage.

Thank you, Larry, that's what I'm doing now.
I guess I'll have to settle for that arrangement.

I do miss the Location Bar though.
