More info but still not had the desired effect. Possibly suspecting the search didn't look in system or protected files I looked in C:\Users\MyName\Application Data\Mozilla\Sea Monkey\Profiles. In there was a folder for each of my other two active accounts and 3 folders numbered as O2 accounts. I used to have 3 O2 accounts. None of these folders had any reference to my renamed folder so I went ahead and deleted them to the Recycle bin with Sea Monkey mail and browser closed. Returned to the Sea Monkey Mail and my rogue empty folder is still there.
