Are there any other credit unions nearby? I mean credit unions different from the one where you have your account. If so, go to <http://www.co-opsharedbranch.org/>. Check to see if your credit union is a CO-OP Shared Branch member. Then check to see if any nearby credit union offices are also CO-OP Shared Branches. If both are part of the CO-OP Shared Branch system, you can visit the nearby office to deposit to your actual credit union. The concept is the same as if you walked into a Bank of America branch to make a deposit at Wells Fargo Bank even though you do not have any account with Bank of America. While this is highly unlikely with banks, it actually works with credit unions in the CO-OP Shared Branch system. -- David E.
