I cannot remember the last time SeaMonkey froze. IMHO SeaMonkey has been
"Rock-solid" and very stable.
My only comment is that I suspect that the problem may not be SeaMonkey
but that using a lot of extensions which may be creating the problems
you are experiencing. Try running SeaMonkey with all extensions removed
and see if many or all problems disappear.
Interesting that you don't have history and addressbook sorting issues
in v2.29 in both Debian/Linux and Windows (64-bit W7 EE SP1 and XP Pro
SP3). Here is what I use:
