I'll try in Windows when I have a chance to see if I can replicate in
that OS. Note the location of my cache2, it is not located in the
standard /home/<user>/.mozilla/<profile.name> (for linux) location, it
is instead located in the user's home ~/.cache folder. This could be the
reason that my (linux) Prefbar is not clearing it.
