Is it possible to have a sig file for some of the news groups on

which version of Linux I use, but as I'm posting today using Win7
that might not be appropriate. And in a Win7 NG having a Linux
sigfile might not be appreciated ... and, in a Star Trek NG, they

Probably not, without using some extension. A check of addons.mozilla.org/en-us/seamonkey turns up nothing of interest for
a search of "signature".

In Thunderbird, the most prominent tool is Signature Switch https://addons.thunderbird.net/en-us/thunderbird/addon/signature-switch/ . It's TB only, but it might be possible to to use the Seamonkey conversion tool at http://addonconverter.fotokraina.com/, and get
it to run under Seamonkey.

I have used "Manage Identities" on one account adding a new extra-identity. Clicking on "Edit" permit me to have another sig
file. When you need this sigfile, you choose this new account as the
"From" part of the mail.

Thanks, guys! Three selections I'll have to try out.
