I have come to believe that the most effective way (in theory) to provide
over-the-Internet access to ebase would be to run ebase on a Windows 2000
Server with Terminal Services installed, and allow remote users to launch a
Terminal Services session to run ebase. This is similar in concept to using
PC Anywhere, except it wouldn't require a dedicated computer (assuming you
already have a server running FileMaker).
Disclaimer: I haven't actually done this. Yet.
Thoughts? Anyone actually tried this?
best,
jon
