Thanks Bruce. I am able to do other things, just more slowly than usual. I'd say it's 
been running for 30 minutes or more, though. We do have a gigantic database,
but the dupe check I had run earlier only took a few minutes. Any thoughts on what 
will happen if I force quit? I'm wondering if I will need to go to a backup, or
if the data might be okay...
