ebase + data won't fit on a single floppy. Exactly what did you put on the
floppy? What do you mean computer won't open it up?

You should have installed ebase on the new machine from scratch with
original data. Then you should have copied all the .103 files from the old
computer on top of the sample data on the new one. It should open at that
point when you double click on ebase.exe. There are problems doing this if
you are changing from PC to Mac or vice versa but that is not your case (or
is it?)

V2 is looking good but not quite ready for prime time except for the very
adventurous.

I can understand people trying ebase without FileMaker and even running with
it for a while. But you are restricted from doing so many things that it
seems foolhard to continue in that mode for very long.
