All the files and folders in the ebase directory need to be transferred to the new machine. There are 20-something files, with filenames like names_.103 and such. As others have said, these files won't fit on a floppy - you probably grabbed only the single file ebase.103. That's only a control and navigation file and has no data. It's unlikely that even the names file alone will fit on a floppy. You'll need to use a larger-capacity removable disk like a zip disk, or temporarily hook both machines up to a local network to transfer the files. >Should I >now upgrade to ebase 2.0 and then try to empty my data into it from the >floppy that my new computer won't open??!!
