This has come up once or twice here. I export all the payment data for the time range in question out of ebase and aggregate/query it elsewhere, usually in Excel. If there are too many payments, Excel may fall short (limitation on rows -- depends on version). I use a separate (obscure) application in those cases, but most any DB could probably work. I know this isn't the most elegant right-within-ebase solution, but it works for me (I don't have enough experience with FMPro or ebase to do all tasks in ebase).

I'm working with a group that wants to do a specific search: anyone who made payments in a specified date range (like 1/1/2001 through 7 /1/2001, or 2/5/2002...2/19/2002) with a CUMMULATIVE total of $X or more. Carl really came through on my last stumper. Anyone up to this challenge?
