Heh, took me a fair bit of time to find those for my box. They were
plentiful enough, but every time I slipped a pair into the machine, it
choked. I wound up dragging it to every parts outlet in town to try them
on before finally finding them at Compusmart. Then they wound up actually
being the best price in town, and sold in name brand packages to boot!
Price for SIMMs fluctuates like currency exchange rates, but figure circa
$80-100 in your budget for the pair.
Call around, they aren't that hard to find, not yet anyway. Also, you need
to determine whether your box desires parity or non-parity. Take the thing
along to try them on, just like trying on shoes, it's a picky fit. The
shop should have a spare monitor and keyboard and power cord, so bring only
the main unit.
BTW, this list encourages brevity of post as some listmembers have
difficulty with large amounts of text.
Not that your post had any problems, just by way of introductory education.
Welcome!
