I do lots of very stupid things, does not everyone ?

They can be ran in separate sessions, thus crashing separatedly. It will also be
possible to run OS/2-programs
paralell to the Win-programs.
My daughter usually runs Mirc and Pegasus in Winos2 windowed sessions and Netscape and
ICQJava at
once.
I rarely use Windowsprograms, mainly Wordpro97, I have Postroadmailer, Netscape and
then MICQ or AICQ in
an OS/2-window, when I am on the internet. The imageediting is made in X-windows, only
fullscreensessions.
DOS-programs work very well under OS/2, the more graphical ones have to be used in
fullscreensessions
though.

I never had a S3-card, only ATI and Matrox. S3 should not be a worse problem than
anything else.
I usually install with standard VGA, then I install the videodrivers and last I apply
the fixpack. Fixpack 40 will
make a new system out of Warp3 (and you can use the US_english fixpack with all
languageversions, it is not
like NT...)
With the standard SVGA driver I got 65.000 colours in 800X600 without problem (with an
ATI-card), using
Warp3.
Having 64mb you can really take advantage of OS/2 and OS/2 can take advantage of all
the 64mb of memory.
