Neither Telia nor Tele2 refuse to inform about DNS, none of them are very good at 
information though. SBBS
is the other extreme, you can not access their pages without being informed about the 
DNS adress.

I have just found the paper I got from Tele2, when I had an account there, it contains 
User-ID, password,
User-ID and password for email, pop-server, domainname, nameserver (DNS), newsserver 
(NNTP) and
SMTP-server.

I also got a leaflet "FAQ", that contains more detailed information, especially about 
various problems, that may
occur. Not only Windows95, but also Mac and Windows 3.x.

Other systems are not much in use, it can not be expected, that the supportdesks shall 
know every detail
about every system. They also can not know about every piece of software, that there 
is. The supportdesk
clerks are probably complaining about obstinate DOS-fans calling just to show off...
