Patty here again, total beginner with IBM PS/1, 120 MB HD with WIN 3.1
and DOS 6-something. Adequate RAM.
I installed this "internet package" that has the following icons within
it:
TcpMan
Eudora
Ping
Ftp
Ewan-Telnet
LView
Archie
News Express
Gopher
When I go to "TcpMan" and ask it to dial, I get a message that it can't
find the Dll.
When I open Eudora and try to dial I get the message that it can't find
Winsock.
That Icon for TcpMan has a trumpet on it and looks to me like Trumpet
Winsock, so I don't know what I am doing "wrong"here.
ALSO -- there are two phone plugs in the back of the modem, unlabelled.
Do I need to plug something into both, or just one? Which is in/out?
It is a Hewlett Packard 14,400 modem I got at a yard sale ...
