Or, as the Flemish saying goes, you're left there standing with a mouth
full of teeth...
The dang modem should at lest have an indication which one of the plugs
is for "wall", the other for "phone" connection. Inbetween, and on the
pluggin' card, there's a relay - the first thing to break down with
internal modems.
One more reason to try to use *external* modems in the first hand.
