I bought a 486 at a garage sale. It had Win 95 on HD, but no usable
programs. I formated the HD and installed MS-Dos 6.20. CD-ROM does
not work now and Arachne cannot find internal Modem. Correct me if I am
wrong, but I understand I will have to open it and get numbers from
Modem to ask for DIP Switch or jumper settings and from CD-RON for proper
driver soft-ware. This scares me, I have never done anything from key-
board I couldn't fix, but people I know have wrecked their computers
poking around inside.
