Last friday at an orientation for a technician course (a+ and MCP) I
inquired whether they'd be using wrist straps and they all chuckled and
said that it wasn't worth the trouble. They then sidetracked me about how
expensive to set up a static proof workstation, never seeming to consider
that just a wrist strap would be adequate.
Said nobody uses them anymore.
Isn't that crazy? I think they just don't want to be leashed all day like
a dog to a post and taking it on and off is too much trouble.
