Eko, you can forward this to survPV list if you wish:
1) DNS assignment can be done during PPP negotiation - the problem is
on the side of PPP driver (DOSPPPD is port of Linux "pppd", which has
- or used to have ? - the same problem). If it knows DNS, it could pass
it using BOOTP protocol! And yes, I would change Arachne to use
use BOOTP instead of PPP.LOG as default setting, if EPPPD.EXE suppors
this.
2) There will be DHCP support in new release of Wattcp, and I hope I
will manage to use it in Arachne (I even contributed to this new release
of Wattcp, although only ver little ! I am becoming TCP/IP guru !!! ;-)
