Just a wild guess: I have read that when using cable with two
connectors and only attaching one HD, you should use the one at the
end. If you connect two HD's, the master should be attached to the end
connector, slave to the middle one. On some systems this might not
make any difference, but then again on some it just might. Worth a try.
