The same hapenned with "Blaster Master" ?   Well, sounds like
you've just recorded an abyss of *silence* <g>.  Some compatible
sound cards that claimed to be SB Pro compatible, actually has
propetiary mixer, that won't work with standard SB Pro mixer
settings (which assumed by most DOS SB programs).  Most likely
your card has that kind of mixer, and it's input channel defaulted
to AUX and/or input volume level not high enough to accomodate
your microphone.  Use the setup utility included with your card
to change input channel to MIC (or CD) and increase input volume,
then try again.
